Businesses make a lot of promises, but in moving,“Satisfaction Guaranteed” is hard to deliver. In this case, the necessity of compromise must be applied. My experience has showed me that most customers demand a Brand New Bookcase every time a glass door breaks during shipping. Most companies have a repair guy on staff to handle such issues. Fair means everyone gets what they need. If “Satisfaction Guaranteed” means buying something new every time something gets broken, then that only spells bankruptcy to me.
I started delivering furniture for a small family business at 17 years old. I then worked for the Top Moving Company in Montreal for 20 years and many other Top Moving Companies after that. I am still working in transport today so that gives me a total of 43 years experience in that field.
